3rd Grade Common Core Notebook!

Yay!   After two weeks of working, I've finished my Third Grade Common Core Notebook!  Now I will begin my notebook for first grade!  I've had so many nice comments and requests for these packets in different grade levels.  It will be so nice to use these resources this year with my students and I hope they help you all as well!  If you are a third grade teacher you will love the amount of goodies in this download to help your students organize their work samples and Common Core checklists.  As I use the second grade notebook this year with my students I will post pictures for all to see!  I would love for you all to check out this loaded 243 paged packet!  Thanks friends and have a good night!-Yvonne :)

  1. I love this! I pinned the second grade one on pinterest. I am a science lab teacher, so I wouldn't be able to use this, but I would love our grade level teachers to use it! :)

  3. Does this include information for Common Core 3rd Grade Math or is it just Language Arts? This looks amazing, but I am a 3rd grade Math, Science and Social Studies teacher.
Thank You for sharing Stephanie Creel

    1. Hi Kris! Thank you! I've had a couple of emails about one for K. Do you think Kinders can handle the idea of portfolio assessment? What are your thoughts as a K teacher? I was thinking they might be a little young for the recording forms, etc.... I'd love to hear other's thoughts on this as well. I know you could use the EQs, Word Wall, labels, etc... but not sure with recording forms/keeping up with artifacts (work samples). I have not taught K other than as a support teacher in the past. Let me know what you think. If enough say they think it is age-appropriate, then I would love to make one for you guys. Thanks!-Yvonne :)

  13. I thought I commented earlier but I guess I didn't. Any ideas on how to modify this for 6th grade?

  14. Hi Arlene! I'm sure it could be adapted. To be honest...I am a little nervous to go that high in levels due to questioning for the EQ cards and student checklists. I have only taught through early childhood levels and would prefer to stick to elementary levels. I could look at the standards but don't think I will be making anything beyond 4th or 5th. Thank you!-Yvonne :)

  24. Quick question - I've seen that colorful striped font (on the cover of the notebook) a lot lately. What is the name of it and where can I find it? :)

    Thanks!

  26. I am wondering if you have pictures of how you set up a student binder? I just purchased the 3rd grade materials and am having a hard time figuring out how to set up the materials from the "supply list" you included.

    Thanks!
